Final results for the State Games of Oklahoma Bouldering Competition are posted below.
Note: Ties were decided by counting the attempts within the five boulder problems scored, less attempts received the higher rank. The 4th place tie in Female Youth D remained as the cards were equal in attempts.

The Oklahoma State Games Bouldering Competition at Climb Up in Norman is an indoor rock climbing event open to amateur climbers of all ages and abilities. The competition will be a single session “redpoint” format where climbers get to pick which climbs they attempt. Points are earned upon completion of a climb with more difficult climbs being worth more points. A competitor’s top five best/ hardest climbs are summed for their final score.

Youth Categories – Divided into the following categories based on gender and birth year: Youth D – 2006 and later
Youth C – 2004, 2005
Youth B – 2003, 2002
Youth A – 2001, 2000
Junior – 1999, 1998
Age 16 or older as of Dec 31st, 2016 and based on gender and self-assessed skill level, as follows: Recreational – up to V1
Intermediate – V2-V3
Advanced – V4 and up
Masters – 45 years and olde
Collegiate Team Category
Adult competitors may also elect to be registered as a collegiate team member. A collegiate climbing team shall consist of undergraduate, or graduate, students that are currently enrolled at a university or college. All members of a team must be enrolled at the same university or college. Collegiate teams must have a minimum of three (3) team members to be a team. Team representation is by collegiate institution (i.e. OU, OSU, OCCC, UCO, OCU, SWOSU, etc.) Team affiliation must be designated during registration. Competitors, in each category and discipline, are awarded points as outlined in rule 4.4. Additionally, team rankings are calculated per rules outlined in rules 4.4.1, 4.4.2, 4.4.4, and 4.4.5.

This competition will be a bouldering “redpoint format” and follow the rules of USA Climbing with the additional component of a collegiate team category.
Medals will be awarded to the top three places in each category.
